Welcome! Your Chrome Extension allows you to easily bookmark posts you like and request rights from creators on different social media channels.
Note that you must have an active subscription to the EnTribe Platform in order to utilize this extension. You can learn more about the platform HERE.
To activate EnTribe Connect, you will need to have an individual social post open on your active browser tab (eg. it will not be accessible when on the social feed or when viewing a profile page).
The latest version of this extension supports Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter. Read on for instructions on navigating each social platform.
Open Instagram and look for the three dots at the top right corner of a post and click "Go to Post"
Open TikTok and click on a video.
Open Twitter, find a post on the feed or on a profile page. Click on the area around the image or video. This should open a similar screen but just for that thread. From here you should be able to Bookmark the content with the Chrome Extension.
When you have gotten to individual post, open the extension and login with your EnTribe credentials. You should see a thumbnail of the post (or multiple thumbnails if the selected post is a carousel).
Think you might want to use this post in your own organic or paid marketing? Then you will want to request permission from the creator and get the hi-res image or video.
Select the thumbnail(s) you like and click the button. EnTribe will save it to the Bookmarks tab in your EnTribe Portal and copy the Rights Request direct message text to your clipboard.
Next, in the Instagram app, click to send a message to the creator of this post. Paste your direct message into the message bar and hit send. Unless you have edited your default DM in the EnTribe Portal to do otherwise, this message will include a link to your Content Uploader
If the creator agrees to give you permission for use of their content, they will submit the file through the uploader and sign the terms and conditions. Submitted content will appear in your content library marked as Approved or Custom Terms, ready for publishing across marketing channels!
Like a post but are not sure if you want or need the full permissions just yet? Hit this button to simply save it to your Bookmarks tab for later action.
If you manage multiple accounts / brands within the EnTribe platform, you can switch between them using the dropdown at the bottom of the extension.
